Stuck in the same 3 a.m. conversation

The details loop. You've asked the same question a hundred ways and the answers still don't land.

One of you is done apologizing and still isn't trusted. One of you can't stop asking. You both said you'd move forward, and neither of you knows what forward means.

Here's what no one says out loud. You're not trying to get the old relationship back — that one is gone, and some of it you wouldn't want back anyway. The real question is whether there's a new one worth building, and whether you can build it honestly.

Why a weekend

Not another year of Tuesdays.

You can't do the hardest conversation of your life in fifty-minute pieces, then live inside the wreckage between sessions and hope it holds.

A weekend gives the work room to actually move. We stop trying to restore what broke and look honestly at what happened, what it meant, and what's worth making now.

I won't promise to save your marriage. I'll promise to sit with both of you, fully present, while you find out what's true and what's possible.

What the weekend looks like

One immersive weekend, built around the two of you and your schedule.

First, a free 90 minutes

Before any commitment, we meet for a full 90 minutes at no charge and begin mapping the ruptures and the patterns that keep pulling you back to the same place.

The weekend

Deep, experiential work where the real conversation finally gets the room and the time to happen, and to finish.

Integration

A follow-up session a few weeks later to anchor what's shifted and support what you've decided to build.

David Lieberman, LMFT

David Lieberman, LMFTI'd rather you meet me before you decide anything. That's what the first conversation is for.

Is this you?

  • You're living after an affair and don't know whether trust can be rebuilt.
  • The same conversation keeps looping and ending the same way.
  • One of you is done apologizing, one of you can't stop asking.
  • You've been told to "just move forward" and have no idea how.
  • It wasn't physical, but the betrayal is just as real — money, secrecy, an emotional affair, a broken promise.
  • You want to stay, and you don't want to pretend it never happened.

Common questions

How does betrayal recovery work after an affair?

It starts by dropping the goal of getting the old relationship back, because that one is already gone. Instead of restoring what broke, we look honestly at what happened and what it meant, and build the first real footing for a new relationship that includes the truth rather than working around it. A weekend gives that work room instead of cutting it into weekly fragments.

Can trust really be rebuilt after infidelity?

Sometimes, and it's worth being honest about what "rebuilt" means. Trust doesn't get restored to exactly what it was — it gets built new, on different ground, with both people awake to what happened. For some couples that ends up sturdier than what they had. For others the honest answer is a clean ending. The weekend is where you find out which is true for you.

Rebuilding isn't going back.

It's deciding, honestly and together, what you want to make now. That's what the weekend is for.
